Let us pray for all those who are affected by current violent weather.

Creator, you hold us all in your hand. Holy Mother Earth, we are all your children--two-footed and four-footed, winged and finned, standing people and stone clan. Let us remember that we are all sisters and brothers. Protect those who suffer from the cold, especially the homeless and unsheltered. Teach us to open our hearts and hearths to them, be they friend or stranger or wanderer. Let us remember those who have lost their homes, and offer our hands and hearts to rebuild. Let us remember in their grief the families and friends of those who have gone to walk the Spirit Road. Let us keep the memory of those who have gone. May their eyes be bright and their hearts be glad when they look on you at last, Mother and Father of us all.

For all our Relations

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
