NASA Confirms Loud Boom Triggered By Asteroid Seen Over At Least 10 States

(The Weather Channel) A loud boom heard across Cleveland on Tuesday morning, and NASA has confirmed that it was caused by an asteroid that was 6 feet in size weighed roughly 7 tons.

"Heard the loudest boom just now in northeast OH. People heard it as far as Avon. What was that? Meteor? @NWSCLE," wrote @jacecraftmiller on X.
