Elizabeth Warren Proposed to Her Husband Because That’s How She Rolls

Sunday marked Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 35th wedding anniversary to her husband and fellow Harvard Law professor, Bruce Mann. In a Facebook post celebrating the anniversary, the Democrat from Massachusetts revealed that, much like her role creating and overseeing the Troubled Asset Relief Program, she was the architect of the legal power couple’s wedding.

Basically, she proposed to him.

She also added that she hoped to live in an America “where everyone can marry their own Bruce – their best friend, biggest supporter, and love of their life.”
