Before his election to the Senate in 2021, Senator Jon Ossoff was a journalist who led investigations into organized crime, official corruption, war crimes, corporate abuses, and human trafficking around the world.

In the Senate, Senator Ossoff has applied those same skills to expose corruption and abuse in government, including the abuse of children, mistreatment of military families, and civil rights abuses, and he's fighting back against Trump's abuses of power. He is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senate Appropriations Committee, and the Rules Committee.

Senator Ossoff is the only Democratic Senator up for re-election in a state Trump won in 2024. His Senate race in Georgia will likely be one of the most competitive and expensive Senate contests in the nation. - 03/20/2026.
