2. This used to be such a good school...

Very progressive. Kids could design their own majors, devise their own for-credit projects/experiments (my fave was a guy who devised a social experiment where he wore nothing but a tie for a semester... 😏 )

And then DeathSantis came in and fucked everything. No extras--except they crammed in athletics where there was never room for them. They did away with anything self determined, artistic. Tried to force Charlie Kirk bullshit (including a memorial fountain!) Just squehched anything fun, experimenal, ot even vaguely forward thinking. No social clubs. The fascists in Tallahassee want nothing remotely "woke," for fuck's sake. 😡

Students left in droves. Now, they're trying to squeeze in students from a state school. This is a SMALL campus, mind you. Athletics didn't physically fit and more students sure as hell won't.

I'm sooooo glad my daughter decided this wasn't the school for her...

I hope when Pedolf Shitler keels over, the Repuke fever breaks and his mini me in our governor's office goes up in flames with him.

At least the arsehole can't run for reelection again. We're also seeing signs there may be a blue wave making headway here so send a good thought!

I went to a girls' boarding school, established 1879, so many of us were looking for a more progressive college, and I remember that one of my classmates was talking about attending New College in Florida. This is a real tragedy...

7. The destruction of New College is a horribly painful thing
