4. Did you use direct deposit on tax return?

For those getting retirement social security the payment will come quickly to the same place social security goes. Or those who filed tax returns for 2019 or 2018 using direct deposit for a refund. Money will soon go to that account. But if you only filed tax returns but without bank info it could take months. But the IRS says it will open a web portal where you can enter bank info to get money quickly. The recent portal they opened is not the bank info portal, it is just a way for those without retirement social security who do not file tax returns to register for the checks. So if you filed taxes with direct deposit, just wait. They claim you will get money next week. Same if you get retirement social security and don’t file tax returns. Other wise watch out for news of the new IRS portal for entering bank info.
