        Our side doesn't control the machinery of repression or of "law" enforcement.  We don't have the ability to make policy on the "cracking down on domestic terrorism".  They do, and are actively using it to target their political opponents (us), which is not something our side has ever done.
It's completely valid for us to point out when perpetrators of violence don't fit the regime's narrative.
