This is a reference to the Rockland County litigation. And whether there will be a trial, let alone a "massive" trial is far from certain. A court session scheduled for September 22 was cancelled and the parties are in the process of briefing the defendants' motion to dismiss. This report from the organization that brought the lawsuit says a decision on the motion to dismiss is due on November 11, although I know of nothing that requires the court to rule by that date. And, in any event, the court might dismiss the complaint and then there would be no trial.

This case has been hyped out the wazoo, often ignoring the fact that the vote totals, while startling at first glance, aren't that far out of line with vote totals in prior Rockland Count elections.
