and have all the senior officers in the military sent there, all in the same place?

What if somebody had bombed the building, as in the Oklahoma City bombing?

What if a terrorist act like 9/11 occurred while that sideshow was going on? Or a natural disaster?

WTF were the puppeteers thinking about?
