a big Republican theme in the 80's on education was that the government was funding too high a percentage and individuals needed to start paying a bigger share of the cost. Now a half century later education is something that young people need to take out enormous loans for.
It looks to me that the Republicans are making the same argument for health care now, put more of the burden on individuals.
I wonder if we will fall for it again.
