They should have been prepared for informed attacks of "what about ism" and personal attacks. They should have been prepared for accusations they might suspect might be coming. Know what you're likely to be countered with. Trump officials are instructed to be combative.

" edit, well maybe not so informed for JFK, but definitely combative.
