50,000 additional deaths, while tragic and unnecessary, is hardly enough to reach your imagined dystopian goal of killing off the unwashed masses.

50,000 additional deaths isn’t even a 2% increase in the death rate, and it’s less than 0.2% of the total US population. Even with a declining birth rate, it would take centuries to kill off the non-oligarch population.

There’s enough actual tragic evil destruction happening right now, and the unnecessary deaths caused by lack of health care is part of it. I’m not sure how presuming it’s all part of a Bond Villain plan to kill off the entire population, rather than incompetent corruption and greed by opportunistic morons, helps us resist and fight back.
