7. I assume you are correct, but she still has to deal with the harassment

It's one thing (still wrong but easier to be rid of) if the police showed up and talked to her, but once they arrest you, there's a lot more time and possibly money involved.

I suspect a jury wouldn't convict and possibly a grand jury might not indict, but South Carolina is a different jury pool than DC where they couldn't get the sandwich thrower or Mark Kelly.
