One thing I still don't get - what did Donald Barr see in Epstein that led him to hire such a completely unqualified faculty member in the first place? Did Epstein have some influence via his own family of origin, did he seduce Barr, etc.? Something still seems missing from the narrative, whatever it was that got the ball rolling. I don't remember Whitney Webb mentioning this detail, but maybe I missed it.
