I became a politics and information junkie in 2016, as we headed toward November - because I was worried.

In the wee hours of election night of 2016, I was screaming and ranting and beyond apoplectic. I was crying and reminding Mr. Dahlia that he promised me...he promised me he wouldn't win. (And in my opinion, he did not do so legitimately.) But back to the sentiment of your OP.

I haven't breathed easily since.

I wrote a piece after the election in 2024. (And the fact that it was orchestrated by irregular interference from Musk and others, is another discussion...and not the subject of your OP.)

I predicted destruction. But I underestimated it. It has become clear that the destruction is the point.

I have been a Chicken Little ever since. The sky has indeed fallen. I too feel the dread.

And I get it - Mr. Dahlia calls me Cassandra. We so often wish we were wrong!
