67. The day that

President Kennedy was assassinated I had a gut-wrenching moment that the world was in some kind of peril. My teenage mind began going over all kinds of doom-filled scenarios. WW3 did not start but a lot of conspiracy theories came out. I was quite taken by the plot of “The Manchurian Candidate” a recent movie of that era.
The planet did not blow up then but the idea of a spreading conflagration dies hard. It started again for me when I began humming to myself the Bob Dylan song, “Knock knock knocking at heaven’s door”” and it did not stir me to recall Trumpy’s musings about his future…..no, no, not that, but instead an apocalyptic ere we may now be entering.
We many not know it until we’re in it and that could be a good thing. Just another day like the rest, etc.
