Ex Google Engineer Uses Public Data to Model the Beginning of the Stupid Iran War in 4D [View all]

Imagine being on one of the commercial aircraft that was put in a holding pattern over the Persian Gulf when every country in the region closed their airspace!

The first part is boring satellite position stuff but then he goes on to air traffic during the first strikes and then ships in the Strait of Hormuz. First clear recap I have seen of the first 12 hours of this stupid war.

Video title is odd. I don't think it "monitors" in real time. Seems like it collects data and then models the recent past. Fascinating and informative all the same.
