9. Why do Dump's deplorables always lash out with such childish insults?

Yeah, I realize it's what Dump does, but are they doing it to please him, or are they all basically childish?

I mean, these people must have had jobs before getting sucked into Dump's world. How did they make a living and support themselves if they were always like this? Truly puzzling.
