7. There's a CNN article online regarding what medical researchers have learned

Yesterday

about the Andes hantavirus from an outbreak in Argentina. Describes a 2 to 8 week incubation period, symptoms, death rate, and when an infected person is contagious.

According to the article, there is only one day when an infected person can transmit the virus. It is on the day when a fever first develops. On that day, somebody can catch it just by walking past the infected person. No vaccine. No medicine for it.
