I could easily see Amy Klobuchar or Elissa Slotkin as VP nominee.

I see both POTUS and VP as wide open for now. Plenty of qualified candidates, some with minor drawbacks, but nothing insurmountable. So far, I see no one with Obama’s charisma or Hillary’s phalanx of qualifications, but that isn’t necessary to win. Just look at Bush II or Trump. As in 2008, logic would dictate that securing the Democratic nomination should be enough to secure the presidency. But history never follows exactly the path that logic would dictate, or else there never would have been a Trump administration—or even a Cheney/Bush administration, for that matter.
