I will add a comment, however. Having perused the European media in recent months-with the help of two others as a bit of a formal project we are undertaking, each taking a different language (me, German, they, Italian and French)--, the comments in articles on the US--any area of policy, not just Iran--are almost blood-curdling in their intense hatred toward all things American. A common slur is typically included--sometimes crudely translated into that language and more often included in English. Not that i blame them for the anger toward this country's policies and Trump, but a significant number of commenters do not distinguish and that anger transcends into pure hatred towards Americans--all Americans. So, at some point most of us may get to feel the totally unwarranted hatred toward all of us that is illustrated in this antisemitic backlash toward anything and everything these domestic hatemongers choose to associate with Judaism.
