I remember during COVID how much better the VT state summaries were compared to the very highly praised NY ones. Phil Scott, the Republican governor spoke only on state actions leaving all discussion of the epidemic to the doctor placed in charge.

To me, hearing both, I wondered why all states, cities, federal government did not let the medical experts take the lead. The most extreme difference was hearing Dr Fauci rather than Trump.
