16. Systemic racism is alive and well in the US.

You provided gerrymandering, but there is also redlining, plea deal malfeasance, and so many other examples. With anti-Black racism, "Kitchen table bigotry" is very much in play. Overt? Not as much or as obvious, except in certain areas. Anti-Semitism, however, has moved from its longstanding Kitchen Table bigotry status, to the fucking front porch! Both groups, and others, have seen microaggressions morphing into flat-out aggression, especially Jews. It is where and by whom these bigotries and aggressions are coming that have many Jews on our collective heels.
