That bastard Trump chose a patriotic number for his slush fund. Not $1.7 billion. It's $1,776,000,000. [View all]

When he made a big deal of a "Warrior Dividend" late last year as a supplementary housing allowance for members of the military, it was a one-time payment of $1,776, sent just before Christmas. I'm sure he thought that was brilliant marketing.

For the slush fund for himself and his pals, he again went with a number meant to show his (nonexistent) patriotism and the (nonexistent) patriotism of the people he'll be rewarding. But he added 6 zeroes.
