Monday

suffered near total annihilation, ending its two decades of dominance, retaining only two seats in the Chamber of Deputies and losing all seats in the Senate. They also lost the presidency.

Whether Rodrigo Paz of the Christian Democratic Party did or did not have Trump's backing, he did have the electoral support of the Bolivian people.
