And it would be seen as a brazen power grab, further damaging them in the midterms.

They are getting what they want from the current majority, so the need to expand is nonexistent.

After ten years of Trump’s chaos and destruction, I think expanding the court in 2029 would have far less political risk to Dems than it would for republicans if they expanded now.
