You aren't in his tribe if the skin color or the God you worship isn't the right one.

Vance needs to read more.

One of the oldest religions in the world is Zoroastrianism, dates back to Persia 600 BC.

It teaches humility and a focus on humanity, that Heaven is what you do and how you live your life every day, on Earth.
None of this 'suffer now and get your reward after you die' stuff.
