* In October 1945, a US occupation survey found 42% of youth and 22% of adults claiming that Germany's reconstruction required a strong new Fuhrer
* By the late 1940s, about half belived national socialism was a good idea badly carried out
* As late as 1952, a quarter of the population still held a good opinion of Hitler
* In 1953, 14% admitted they would be willing to vote for a man like Hitler again

There are certain people that will not change their mind, at least over the next decade or so, no matter how much ruin Trump brings upon the nation.
