Once he becomes the official Maine Democratic party candidate for the Senate he is no longer just Maine's problem. He's going to be hung like an albatross around the national party's neck and every Dem candidate, regardless of where they're running, better be prepared for questions about their support for the racist, misogynist, homophobic Nazi with a history of hanging out on sketchy dating sites. It's just too good a gotcha opportunity for a journalist to pass up.
