Local Nexstar affiliate finds new way to bust Jimmy Kimmel [View all]

For the past few days, WZZM 13 out of Grand Rapids, a Nexstar affiliate, has been running a 30-minute infomercial for "Ruvio," some sort of vacuum cleaner gizmo, preempting the start of Kimmel till 12:10 a.m. It's the same damn commercial every night. In this way, the new "comedic" offering replacing Colbert on the CBS affiliate does not have to go head-to-head with Kimmel and suffer the ratings comparison. Plus, Kimmel loses some viewership from fans who don't want to sit through the infomercial to get to Jimmy's monologue. It's an "in your face" move by Nexstar, presumably to piss off Kimmel fans. Curious to know if this is happening at other locations and stations around the country.
