1. Arguably the Best Museum of Gems and Minerals in the USA.

I prefer it to the Smithsonian's collection. It dwarfs all of the others in the country, as well. If you're in NYC, catch the subway to the Museum of Natural History Museum station and take a walk through the exhibit. Check out the rest of the museum as well, of course.

It's a world-ranked mineral and gemstone exhibit. Don't miss it.
