27. Post WW II until the 1980s Springfield had manufacturing businesses that were tied into products that

… became no longer in demand* as the economy and the world changed and Springfield became
the shits and the population and tax base shrank. @ first a few businesses took a chance and
built new manufacturing facilities in Springfield and the Haitians who came worked very hard and
became good Americans and Citizens of the Springfield area. When other investors and entrepreneurs
saw what Quality employees the Haitians were they then came to Springfield and the town had a
renaissance. Springfield still has some really bad areas and some true life low life live there but
the town overall has grown to embrace the Haitians.
