The Democratic entrenched leadership is actually fighting against the people that make up their constituency by refusing to acknowledge change. And it will continue to bite them in the behind until they wake up to what the people want and start providing it. As elections continue, they will be weeded out until they understand that THEY are the problem.
In the end, you cannot stop progress no matter who you are. . . .
