60. The ones I knew of were Rainier, Hood and Shasta....

Must have been beautiful and invigorating being up in the Cascades.
That sounds amazing seeing Mt St Helen's like that!
Then we all knew of MSH after it blew up.

We'd be driving on some New England mountains and The Aiderondaks during family vacations when I was a kd/tween/teen.

But my most unexpected amazing mountain experience was when my cousin at Denver Uni (while I was doing a 2/3rds and more northern [S Dakota, Colorado] to the SW USA trip by bus) took me up into The Rockies on his motorcycle(!!!) bc his roommate had taken the car. Yeah, kinda scary, but oh; so beautiful!
