There is nothing wrong with the term working class. Frankly I think it's dignified as it implies somebody that is willing to get down in the trenches and do hard work. However, it would be nice if applied to those that do hard work other than manual labor or what is considered "blue collar" work. It would be doubly nice if the term was applied the same way to everybody rather than just white folks.
