It wasn't true for Bush. It wasn't true for Obama. It wasn't true for Trump 1. It wasn't true for Biden. And it's still not true for Trump 2.

And yet it persists as an easy shortcut to complain about jobs numbers when politically convenient. Virtually nobody here gives a damn about understanding what these employment statistics mean. It's always a cudgel.
