9. We had an elderly German shepherd too

Thursday

When she couldn't jump into the car anymore, my husband made a collapsible stepping stool that let her get into the back seat, where we had a hammock for her. We had to put her to sleep during the height of Covid because she got to the point that she couldn't even sit up or lay down without falling over on her side. Not sure if it was DM or a spinal issue. She was 15, which is really old for a shepherd. This video brought back some fond memories of her.
