33. Please No One Attack Me (if anyone even reads these which I hope no one does except history 500 years away)

I am really sorry. I do think by now this should be seen as long as it degrows things like these that allow Hennessy to first be the world’s worst admin and then go around shilling anytime that was minimally catastrophic as a raging success.
No.. He is cool. He is unlikely to sue me.

It is really terrible. I am unable to communicate something serious without collapsing into laughter because these guys are so evil and so lame and tacky. It is just really funny.
I have never met evil people before and it is as awkward as you can imagine.

I hope this is TLDR enough to lose all but the most determinedly daft “internet sleuths” (Hey get a life will you? This was forced on me by Hennessy, whose dedication to his professional duties is like zero..He is typical of this managerial class. You are making an ass of yourself if you are not under duress as I kind of am and checking this garbage, but reading and following it).
Anything viral and part of the internet is whatever “cringe” is by definition.

This is Hennessy kidnapping people from the real world and holding them hostage by not even withholding information so much as just..

I bet he claims his terrible work ethic jump started the next phase of human evolution…
That would be very on brand for Google and why one dubiously wades info this.

I mean there is a dull story here about the growing surveillance state and how to check it. I am filing complaints and throwing this stuff out there because real world problem solving is drowned in a sea of Thanatos and Bathos as logical inferences from the world that Hennessy’s ilk built and well..just the dominant worldview.


Hey I am not doing whatever “hating” is. But we come off as really stupid and in a crisis a person panics that it may never be possible to get through to people. The real crazies aside, if one said “I am looking for a real educator not Douchebag Random Name Associated with culture x”, one of Hennessy’s online provocateurs would make it a discussion about insults to the x people followed by death threats etc.
Yeah I never really got the appeal of hollow outrage beyond a point. Don’t get me wrong. I have seen trash tv and I get why it is titillating.


But seriously..honestly. It is terrible guys like this Hennessy who largely looks like this innocuous old guy. And it isn’t him per se. But he represents the dereliction of duty by the real muscle those guys are adjacent to.

I never felt betrayed by my colleagues etc. This was terrible. You guys are too histrionic and no one can talk to you. People move to other countries and write strange message board posts over talk to you.

But I..I don’t want to start a conversation that will end with me having to sign on for something tacky Hennessy is trying to sell because I do not want to be rude to the NIH.
That was the last 14.5 years.


I don’t know how much guys like Hennessy buy their own canned propaganda..like “Facebook will be connect the world!” Or equally painfully “Facebook Remains as Sleazy as the Original Service Promised to Be but I am Outraged and Shocked that this tacky thing I use is tacky”.

Google was worse. I did treat it like a tool one would pay for. Yeah all this open source etc is bullshit.
All of this is and I hope I don’t get joint at the hip with it to useless extents.

I mean I don’t have much to hide at this point except the reality that I always thought this was a really stupid society and it is true that I don’t have a hateful and paranoid view of you.
But I absolutely cannot see pragmatically signing up for the various terrible ideas you guys all buy into.

I always thought most of the net is a waste of time. And I do not think people should not eat junk food, should not waste time etc.
I have no idea what people should do beyond not mess with me any further. No I really would feel bad, but if it was a nuisance enough to me I would certainly follow through on legal threats.
It would totally hurt you more than me. Because I am going on common sense. This is bullshit.

Maybe if I hurry (as my dad puts it “hurry up slowly”, a military thing alluding to the issues with the kind of panic that fuels these crazy growthists and followers when the shit hits the fan.)


The thing is this wasn’t politics or theatre. It is more profoundly insulting and meaningful for the left side of the aisle that it isn’t that I think these guys are bad guys mostly. It is that they are incompetent and lack even the humility needed to course correct often. But as a not fake sop, still sometimes I don’t entirely disregard the least broken parts of conservatism.

My brain is undergoing some kind of transformation and well..great.. Now I am Jill Bolton. You are a terrible admin Prof Hennessy.
This was a nightmare and a cautionary tale about technology use.

I am not a Luddite but I sort of fled from my colleagues because this is too big a step. I don’t buy into conversations with these guys and pragmatically..I am flummoxed. This needs a Right to Information law for citizens past a level of encroachment into spaces that no one thought to protect.
