I tried to get in touch with one scientist I met back in 2011 -knew him for two weeks from Halloween 2011-mid Nov 2011, when he vanished in an inexplicable snit, all things considered.
He was one person, my lab aside, who affected my brain - his information delivery etc. I am not at all shocked in retrospect that this has aged poorly. I thought it was barbaric back then. My family was relatively ahead of its time wrt women’s rights and I found our burgeoning surveillance state and its continued normalisation scandalous.
I have accepted some of his silence (my former colleague’s as the fault of these lousy systems). But he must address a few things, before I can focus it further.
