3. Tom Suozzi holds George Santos' old district

It's mostly Nassau County but does run over into some fairly conservative areas of Queens. In NY, people use "Long Island" to refer to Nassau and Suffolk counties, even though Queens and Brooklyn are technically on the island called 'Long Island." (So, just objecting to Kruse saying "NY-3 on Long Island" - it is mostly on Long Island, but also covers some areas of NYC).

Suozzi is not going to get a primary challenger there. Unfortunately, it's a pretty conservative district (they elected George Santos), so Suozzi's probably the best hope of holding the seat, which is why he voted the way he did. His vote was still fucked up and wrong, but he's going to be the Dem candidate in NY-3. Do with that what you will.
