Yesterday

He had to give it up for his (second) losing campaign to unseat a Democratic governor. I lived in that district for 25 years and used to know him a bit as our sons were in Scouting when I was the leader. Tom was a reasonable and friendly guy and one night over a campfire I asked him what his long term goal was. Unsurprisingly, he said President.

I think he’s lost his way a bit but that district has lots of Republicans in it.
