What I think is a GPS tracker from the factory.. It was way up above the wheel well near the gas filler.
. You could not see it with a casual glance..This is no small device. About the size of three hockey pucks stacked on one another. Good weight to it also...It has a magnetic base. I called the dealer and the service department said it's used for "inventory tracking and theft recovery at the dealership"......
"They" said to not worry about it. Ahhhh no. I took it out and put it on my shelf in the garage...
I did some homework and I'm gonna look for other trackers attached to the OBD2 port. Uff.....
Talk about surveillance society...Nobody needs to know where this geezer is going...

I believe they keep the ID so if you stop paying they can have the device turned on and start reporting the location.
