Since he was born in 1874, he stuck with the Party of Lincoln. But she had a wake-up call with President Reagan who none of the friends in my grandmother's "peace group" supported him. She asked me once what they would think if they knew she voted for Reagan - and all I could say was "don't look at me, Nana..." So she changed parties at age 90(!) and voted for President Clinton - twice!
