Americans are still refusing to admit the real reason this country is facing a fascist takeover.
It wasn’t the economy.
It wasn’t inflation.
It wasn’t affordability.
It wasn’t healthcare.
It wasn’t even democracy.
Those were excuses.
The real engine behind MAGA has always been white supremacy — the fear of losing white dominance, white comfort, white privilege, and white control.
White America keeps gaslighting itself by pretending Trump’s rise was about “economic anxiety” while ignoring the racism, cruelty, misogyny, Christian nationalism, anti-immigrant hatred, attacks on Black history, attacks on voting rights, and open authoritarianism sitting right in front of us.
At some point, the media and white people have to stop dancing around the truth.
MAGA is not just a political movement. It is a white backlash movement.
