In 1969 I was in the Navy and stationed in Antarctica for Winter Over. A few guys said that since we see the Sun 24 hours a day in Summer, we will see the Moon 24 hours a day all Winter. I had to use a chalkboard to demonstrate that since the Moon orbits the Earth and Earth orbits the Sun, they were wrong. They remained skeptical and it was never mentioned again. Many of those guys are MAGA's today.
