1. I believe Vance only needs the support of 12(out of 22) Cabinet members to initiate the 25th

And then a simple majority of each chamber of congress to sustain it.

The current cabinet is so craven and corrupt, I’m sure Vance could make promises that would sway all but Vought, Wiles, Bondi, Hegseth and maybe Kennedy (Miller isn’t a cabinet member).

Once the 25th ball is rolling, I’m sure there are enough republicans in congress who hate Trump and want to retain their seats in the midterms, that They would vote to sustain the removal. The big question is, would Dems? I think it depends on the timing- if Vance acts before the midterms, perhaps not, but if he acts after the midterms, and Dems have regained control of one or both chambers, I’d say the odds grow significantly.

The 25th remains a potential and viable possibility.
