But if Vance and the cabinet did take the steps to initiate the 25th, and during the 21 day initial suspension period, testified to congress of their first hand knowledge and accounts of Trump’s incapacitation, I’d say the odds for a 2/3 vote would be more likely than a generic impeachment process that would be framed as a partisan attack rather than a “patriotic” action from within the administration that the 25th would be framed by Vance.

There have been rumblings from beltway sources that this is a real possibility being considered. Even Timothy Snyder suggested that Miller and Hegseth’s recent actions could be viewed as defensive maneuvers to ward off any attempt to invoke the 25th.
