Yesterday

Trump got to where he is by pushing the buttons of the easily manipulative. He went where others wouldn't dare touch. He said things that triggered people's deepest emotions and stroked their fears. His goons were able to get people to turn against things that ordinary people wouldn't have a problem with. He basically lit off a powder keg that was waiting to explode.

But by the time they've woken up and realized they got conned, it will be too late.
