Does the Netanyahu government want Iran to be a failed state? [View all]

Some of what has happened and is happening (ie no plans other than bombing) would make more sense if Israel didn't want Iran to become a thriving democracy, but just a failed state. Even a more secular, democratic Iran might oppose Israel.
